New Class: KINDER-CREATE

Students will experience an introduction to music, theater and the fine arts. Concludes with a performance at the Level Up Arts Showcase.

Level I (ages 4-5) | Thursday 4-5 pm

TAKE THE STAGE

Students will sing, dance and develop stage presence as they learn music and choreography to songs from Broadway musicals. Concludes with a performance at the Showcase.

Level I (ages 6-8) | Tuesday 4-5 pm

LET'S ACT

Who’s ready for their Oscar speech? Dive deep into drama as we learn stage, film, and TV acting technique! Bring stories to life in new mediums as you connect with your imagination, scene partners, & creativity! Concludes with a performance at the Showcase.

Level II (ages 10+) | Tuesday 4-5 pm

New Class: THE ART OF IMPROV

Students will learn the art of Improvisation through theatre games. Create characters on the spot, imagine crazy scenarios on the fly– if you can dream it up, it belongs in the scene! Concludes with a presentation for parents during class on Week 7.

Level II (ages 9+) | Thursday 4-5 pm

ADVANCED MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP

Students will dive deeper into the elements of acting, singing and dancing and all around performance. Concludes with a performance at the Level Up Arts Showcase.*

Level II (ages 9+) | Tues 5:15 - 6:15 pm

*PREREQUISITE: Student has performed in a Level Up Arts Production or theater production elsewhere.

PAINT, MAKE & CREATE

Students will learn visual art techniques such as but not limited to drawing and painting through creative projects. Concludes with the student's art on display at the Showcase.

Option II (ages 6-10) | Tues 5:15 - 6:15pm

S.T.E.A.M.

Calling all little scientists! Students will have the opportunity to explore their creativity and participate in hands-on exploration of the science and engineering process. Concludes with the student's project on display at The Level Up Arts Showcase.*

Level II (ages 8-10) | Thursday 4-5 pm

Level III (ages 9+) | Thurs 5:15 - 6:15pm

*PREREQUISITE: Students ages 9-10 who have taken a STEAM class with Level Up Arts or elsewhere. Students 11 years old and older do not need to meet the prerequisite.

ART OF DEBATE

Students will learn beginner skills of debate. Concludes with a presentation during Week 7.

Level II (ages 10+) | Thurs 5:15 - 6:15pm

New Class: ART OF PUBLIC SPEAKING

Students will learn the skills of speaking in front of people in a fun and safe environment. Concludes with a presentation during Week 7.

Level II (ages 8+) | Tues 5:15 - 6:15 pm

New Class: CREATIVE WRITING

Who said writing has to be boring?! Students will learn creative writing through fun prompts, games and exuberant instruction. Create screenplays, short stories, poetry, knock-knock jokes–when you’re writing the story, the sky’s the limit! Concludes with a take home portfolio of their work.

LET’S SING

Students will learn to sing in a group setting. Whether it’s show tunes, pop songs, or worship music, students will learn singing and choral technique. Concludes with a performance at the Level Up Arts Showcase.

LET’S DANCE

Students will learn various different dance techniques and choreography. Concludes with a performance at the Level Up Arts Showcase.

Level I - II (ages 6+) | Tuesday 4-5 pm

New Class: LET'S PLAY THE UKULELE

Students will learn an introduction to playing the Ukulele. Through group instruction students will learn beginner techniques, chords and strum patterns. Students will need to bring their own instrument. Concludes with a performance at the Level Up Arts Showcase.

Level II (ages 10+) | Thurs 5:15 - 6:15 pm

ART OF KARATE

Students will learn an introduction to karate. Concludes with a performance at the Level Up Arts Showcase.

WINTER ARTS SHOWCASE :

March 2, 2024

All of the classes will conclude with a performance at the LEVEL UP KIDS ARTS Winter Showcase on Saturday, March 2. In addition to the performances, the art and projects created will be on display. We look forward to celebrating the talents that will be created by all of our students!
